About Me
I'm a guy that likes figure out how things work, fix em up, and see what I can do to make it better while sprinkling in a bit of dry humor along the way.
I started out in 2003 modifying video game hardware and converting home consoles into portable systems to take with me on the go.
In 2008 I knew nothing about cars and bought my 1997 Nissan Maxima SE because it had a manual transmission. It had blown hood struts and I didn't care because I thought I'd never be under the hood anyways. HA, well I learned how to to do basic auto repair and fell down the rabbit hole of automobiles performing various intake manifold, engine and transmission swaps for myself and local enthusiasts. Then eventually creating my own parts to make the swaps easier and more readily available.
Followed by a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, I work as an automotive engineer specializing in Durability.
2015 I began 3D Printing, utilizing my engineering background I use my printers to create prototypes and end use parts to breathe new life into these older Nissans and Toyotas.
The username. WHY.
Back when AIM was a thing, I wanted to change my screen name to something more unique because I was tired of adding random characters/numbers to the end when creating online accounts. Clearly, it stuck.
